The hall of residence is situated in the former nineteenth century cotton mill
Providing accommodation for students means making room for the future, focusing on technology and energy saving. At Venice CMB is engaged in the development of the largest hall of residence in the city, which will double the accommodation devoted to social housing for university students.
The redevelopment of the area of 8 thousand square metres, where there was cotton mill in the 1800s, has involved work on protected historical buildings and special care during the excavation work. The work on the Santa Marta hall of residence strengthens CMB’s experience with Italian universities.
