parts of Europe from a morphological and geological viewpoint.<\/h2>\n<p> This made <strong>highly complex technological interventions<\/strong> The same volume of <strong>earth in cubic metres<\/strong> (around 8 million m3) dug out from the English Channel or the Gotthard tunnel was removed to achieve this. The <strong>length of the tunnels<\/strong> is distinctly shorter, however, and this required greater attention to avoid the <strong>risk of landslides.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff4f52c elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"ff4f52c\" formations<\/strong>, including the presence of gas, thus requiring a huge amount of planning and construction expertise, using special technological solutions and excavation methods to <strong>avoid the risk of explosion<\/strong>, as well as a capillary surveillance of the topographical and geotechnical aspects, both underground and on the hillside above.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0967585 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0967585\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>These activities were conducted by the <strong>planners and technicians of CMB<\/strong>, by the site managers of SPEA and the Client, Autostrade per l\u2019Italia (the Italian motorway company \u2013 ed.), with the involvement of various authorities and the scientific community CNR-IRPI-ISPRA, as well as the University of Bologna and Padua.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
