Facility Management is of key importance for managing and improving the efficiency of complex facilities
such as hospitals. Over the years, digitalization has allowed CMB to develop an increasingly efficient, integrated system to respond rapidly to the everyday needs of hospitals, from building and plant maintenance services in full risk mode to hygiene and cleaning services, as well as laundry, catering and commercial services. The process of managing the activities is coordinated by a steering committee that oversees all the processes relating to contract activity, and a Control room constantly monitors the technical services.

Borgo Trento and Borgo Roma, the Verona experience
In Verona, with a project financing contract and the role of licensee in the project with Arena Sanità Spa, starting from October 2014, CMB has extended and renovated the Borgo Trento and Borgo Roma hospital facilities, also taking care of service management. To guarantee maximum efficiency, a digitalised system has been activated to guarantee complete traceability. The service management operators interact with the system from a fixed or mobile device, and since 2017, each area has been coded with a QR Code. A control room, located in Borgo Trento hospital, constantly monitors the two healthcare facilities, detecting any anomalies in order to optimise interventions on the operating facility.
