CMB builds the new RAI Production Centre in Milan
With the laying of the first stone, the construction site of the new RAI Multimedia Production Centre in Milan
was officially launched, an intervention included in the urban regeneration plan of the former Fiera area promoted by Fondazione Fiera Milano, with a total investment of 120 million euros.
The new complex will be operational from 2029 and will allow RAI to concentrate its production activities in a single hub. The project involves the construction of a complex of about 65,000 sqm with offices and multi-functional spaces equipped with 10 recording rooms.
The construction is entrusted to CMB, in RTI with Gianni Benvenuto Spa, and will be developed according to high standards of environmental sustainability, respecting the LEED Gold and CAM criteria, “This is a strategic, complex and highly qualifying project, which combines industrial dimension, technological innovation and attention to environmental sustainability” said the Marketing and Business Development Director Emiliano Cacioppo.
