The architect who wanted to get her hands dirty

After years of experience in international design studios, today Maura Massone is Site Quality Manager. The experience abroad was very formative and in CMB she has been able to further develop her technical skills directly on site.

Life experience

“After graduating in architecture, I left for Shanghai because I had received a job offer. The competition and pace of work were really high in the studio. It was an authentic “real-life” experience.”

First impact on site

“In the past, I worked on the preparation of designs to be implemented but I missed understanding the subsequent part of the work. CMB gave me the chance to “get my hands dirty” on site”

Business and quality

“The perception of quality has changed over the years. Today quality is a business division that helps in the choice of suppliers. Quality is achieved only if all the components participate in the process.”

Being a member

“I have been a member of CMB since 2018. I was already part of a group, but becoming a member further reinforces this bond, making me feel part of a big family.”

Technical control

“In the same way as for quality, it’s necessary to carefully supervise technical control. Verifying the entire process and not just focusing on the “paperwork” allows us to avoid a number of problems.”
