Technical Description
The building is made entirely of reinforced concrete and fibre-reinforced concrete. It has an area of 5,000 square meters on the underground level, and comprises five above-ground floors for office use, with 1,600 sqm per floor. 30 metres high, 75 metres long and 25 metres wide, the CAP Group’s headquarters feature 475 different windows and doors with specially made profiles, designed to ensure low maintenance and internal air-conditioning costs for the public company that manages the metropolitan city’s water service. The underground level contains parking spaces and some technical rooms. The outdoor areas are an integral part of the design with an entrance yard of 3,200 sqm characterised by a large stretch of water and a light-grey granite pavement.
“The construction site for CAP Group’s headquarters is my first as Site Manager. I had the opportunity to coordinate activities with a high technological impact and to collaborate with enthusiasm and purpose with both operational and technical colleagues, and with suppliers. CMB believed in me and this was an important professional achievement.”
