Alice Ancillotti
Project Coordinator
Building System Engineering
In CMB since 2014

From Tuscany to CMB, passing through the Politecnico Institute of Milan
Alice Ancillotti joined CMB to write her degree thesis on cold-bent cellular elements for the curtain walls of the Hadid Tower.
She has worked on the construction sites of Italy’s most iconic towers. Today she coordinates and manages the works on the Unipol tower in Milan.
Metaphors
"The construction site is a bit of a metaphor for life: there is a new problem to face every day, always different and unpredictable, you can ask someone for advice if necessary but you have to solve it by yourself"
Women on construction sites
“To work on a construction site, a woman needs to be motivated, insightful and tough. This something extra has allowed us to enter a male-dominated environment and bring organisation, precision and care to the workforce”
Young people in CMB
“CMB is a very interesting company for young people. The experience on the construction site, the introduction of new technologies and BIM accelerate professional growth compared to the past”
Opportunity
“The internship in CMB exceeded my expectations. It allowed me to finish my studies with excellent results and to start working in one of the largest and most exclusive construction sites in Italy”
Feedback
“This experience allowed me to reflect on my career path, to understand what my strengths and weaknesses are and has taught me to use the culture of feedback as a tool for improvement”
