Shopville Gran Reno, an open centre project
the shopping center in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), was concerned of a complex renovation and redevelopment
project made by CMB. Built on behalf of the French group Klépierre on a project by Design International, the shopping mall was the main of a double contract, both private and public for the realization of urban constructions and a pedestrian bridge connecting the Unipol Arena to the railway station. 15 thousand square meters is the part under development includes about 75 shops. The new Shopville Gran Reno was built with top-level finishes and a 4 thousand square meters dome, one of the biggest made with steelworks in Italy.

Technical Description
Shopville Gran Reno covers a total area of approximately 45 thousand square meters. The mall is arranged on three levels: on the ground floor and on the first floor there are the shops, while on the second floor there is a food court. From here you can also access on the terrace of about 2,500 square meters with a multipurpose space for events.
A big steel made dome with triangular glass and blind panels, illuminate the shopping gallery with natural light. In addition there are high-tech facilities and a large car park with 3,800 parking spaces. Built with BIM technology, the mall obtained BREAM certification and the CMB protocol “Safe by vocation”, which involved more than 250 peoples every day, including workers and technicians active 24 hours a day.
