On 31 July, after two days of audit for certification, CMB became the first Italian construction company to certify its BIM management system with ICMQ. CMB’s BIM system was introduced, with considerable foresight, in 2010, initially experimentally, then for the management of complex building sites.

CMB has entered into a contract with Klépierre, leader at European level in the shopping centres sector, to carry out the restructuring work and extension of Shoppingville Gran Reno in Casalecchio di Reno in the province of Bologna. The work relates to the restructuring of the existing shopping arcade and the completion of a new important portion of retail spaces.

Tramway line 2, opened on 11 February in the presence of Italian PresidentSergio Mattarella, extends for 5 km through the city of Florence. The new tramline aims to encourage commuters to switch from buses, often the cause of traffic jams and holdups, to anelectric and environmentally-friendly form of transportwith a capacity of around 250 passengers.
