On 27 October, Italian President Sergio Mattarella officially opened the new premises of the Guardia di Finanza Police Academy in Bergamo, on the site of the former hospital complex. This important work for the city is destined to become an advanced training hub and an integral part of Bergamo’s civil society.

The world has changed since February 2020, and the scenario we’ve been faced with has been strongly impacted by the medical emergency that has swept our country off its feet. After almost two months of lockdown, manufacturing activities and constructions sites restarted from 4 May. CMB has reopened in Carpi, Milan and Rome, and work has restarted on its construction sites, gradually and in complete safety.

On 31 July, after two days of audit for certification, CMB became the first Italian construction company to certify its BIM management system with ICMQ. CMB’s BIM system was introduced, with considerable foresight, in 2010, initially experimentally, then for the management of complex building sites.
