Construction Begins on Florence Tram Line 4.1

In July, construction began on the new T4.1 Leopolda–Le Piagge tram line, a strategic infrastructure project that will support the development of sustainable mobility in the western area of Florence. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Florence Mayor Sara Funaro, Tuscany Regional President Eugenio Giani, and Councillor for Mobility Andrea Giorgio.

Leadership transition: Roberto Davoli appointed CMB President

During the CMB Board of Directors meeting held on May 26, a leadership transition marked the end of a cycle lasting more than thirty years and the beginning of a new phase based on continuity. The departure of Eng. Carlo Zini was officially announced, followed by the appointment of Eng. Roberto Davoli, formerly Vice President and General Manager of the CMB Group, as President.

CMB presents the 2026 Budget to the stakeholders.

CMB surpasses the one billion euro revenue milestone one year early and has approved a 2026 Budget that consolidates the growth achieved. The Cooperative closes the 2025 preliminary accounts at one billion euro and forecasts revenues of 1.014 million euro for 2026, the highest level in its history.

CMB builds the new RAI Production Centre in Milan

With the laying of the first stone, the construction site of the new RAI Multimedia Production Centre in Milan has begun, with an investment of 120 million euros. The 65,000 sqm complex will have 10 recording rooms and will be operational from 2029, with high sustainability standards.

CMB obtains the “Get it fair” rating

On October 9 - 10, CMB obtained the ESG certification “Get It Fair” with a score of 65–75, indicating a low level of exposure to ESG risks. Get It Fair is a tool that assesses compliance and transparency in the management of environmental, social, and governance risks.

2024 Financial Results: CMB meets all targets

The CMB Group closed the 2024 financial year with a significant increase in its key balance‐sheet indicators. Production volumes and profitability for 2024 surpassed both budget forecasts and the prior year’s results. “These achievements are partly the result of a favorable market environment and partly the outcome of the Group’s effective strategic approach, which focuses on selecting the markets, clients, and products,” remarked President Carlo Zini.
